Packer Power Series

Packer Power series is designed to give students in depth knowledge/ training on a particular topic. Sessions are lead by CCHS counselors or guest speakers. Some sessions are hands on in the computer labs and others are informative round table style. All Packer Power series are held during extended times. Most sessions will be given at least twice. Session will vary based on the needs of the students. Spaces are limited to a first come first serve basis, so register early.  You can register at the Counselor’s Corner or on the Packer Power Series web page.

Session Details

Test Registration Help: This is ideal for 1st time test takers. During this time we will assist you as you register to take the SAT or ACT. Please be sure to bring your payment (CreditCard/Debit Card/Fee Waiver) to the session. Students will need to pay for the test at the time of registration.

NCAA Clearinghouse: This is designed for all students interested in playing sports at a Division I or Division II college. We will review academic and test requirements for each division. All students will create a CoreCourseGPA  accounts. Seniors will make certain their Eligibility center accounts are updated. Please make sure you have a personal email address before the start of the session.

College Focus: This is for any student interested in speaking with a particular college admissions rep. It is usually a round table format. The college admissions representative will lead these sessions. Focus sessions will be updated as college schedule lunch visitations.

Military as a Career: Check out this session if you may be interested in a military career. We will cover topics such as High school recruitment, Military Academies, College ROTC programs, and post high school enlistments.

Using a Fee Waiver: All students who qualify for a fee waiver must attend a session in order to receive their waivers. Stop by the Counselor’s Corner for details on requesting a waiver.

Funding College: All students are welcome to get a jump start on the scholarship search. Students will work on the computers as we cover a few of the scholarship search engines.
